The Nisqually Watershed boasts high quality recreation opportunities for hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, ATV users, skiiers, and other outdoor enthusiasts. With its headwaters protected by Mount Rainier National Park and its mouth protected by the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, the watershed provides chances for people of all ages, abilities and interests to enjoy the outdoors year round.
The Nisqually River Council has compiled a list of recreation opportunities from summit to sea in the hopes that all people can enjoy the beautiful watershed.
